  • How to book?
        You can make your booking directly on the accommodation page via a form 

  • When to book?
        Anytime! In Egypt, the sun shines all year round, making it the perfect choice if you're looking for warmth.

  • Is there a minimum length of stay?
        Accommodation can be booked for a minimum of 3 days 

  • Will I receive a confirmation email?
        Yes, in the first round of the booking and in the second round when you confirm the arrival of the accommodation, the transfer 

Entry rules, visas

  • Need a visa? Where can I get one?
          – On arrival (visa on arrival): At Egyptian airports, such as Cairo, Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh, the visa fee is USD 25, payable in cash.
          - The visa usually entitles you to a 30-day stay.

  • What documents are required?
          - Valid passport: The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the planned end of the journey.
           – Tourist visa
           – Return flight ticket
           – Proof of accommodation booking: The authorities may ask for proof of reservation. 
           – Travelling with a child: If you are travelling with a child and both parents are not present, you may need written consent from the other parent in English or Hungarian.

  • How to apply for a trip?
          - You can express your interest by filling in the application form, but the programme will be organised on the spot. 

  • Do I need to book in advance?
            - It is worth expressing interest so that the service providers offering the programme can be better prepared.

  • Is a Hungarian-speaking guide available?
             - There are programmes where they can provide. You can find out more here: programme options

General questions

    • Is it safe to holiday in Egypt?
           - Yes, but  Security classification: The Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs classifies Egypt as a country "to be visited with increased caution". 

    • What currency is in use? Where should I change it?
           - The official currency of Egypt is the Egyptian pound (EGP
           – Forints do not change in Egypt, so it is worth euros or US dollars vinni. Both are accepted, but the dollar is slightly more common, especially for visa fees and small purchases. 

          - ATMs are widely available in major cities and tourist areas. Before using an ATM, you should check your bank's foreign transaction fees. 
          - Use of cash in general, especially in smaller shops and markets. Major shops and hotels accept credit cards, but always carry enough cash. 

    • How can I buy a local SIM card?
           – In international airports, such as Hurghada, you will find the shops of the main mobile operators (Vodafone, Orange, Etisalat, WE) immediately after you pick up your parcel. These shops are open from 0-24 hours
